š£ EASTER IN SPLIT 2026 ā WHATāS HAPPENING...
If youāre in Split for Easter this year, here's some of what you can enjoy:
š„ SIRNICA ā TRADITIONAL EASTER BREAD
Sirnica is the traditional Easter bread in Dalmatia ā slightly sweet, citrusy and usually marked with a cross on top. You can find it in supermarkets and bakeries but one of the more authentic versions head to Tradicija Kirigin, the oldest bakery in Split and a local favourite.
š¼ ÄARDIN EASTER CELEBRATION (FREE EVENT)
The main public event takes place in Äardin, located in front of the Golden Gate to Diocletian's Palace, on Sunday April 5th from 11:00ā14:00. Expect free Easter eggs, sirnica, live music and activities for kids like egg races, sack races and face painting.
š„ EASTER BRUNCH
Some restaurants in Split are closed on Easter Sunday, so eating out is a little more limited. However if you'd like to celebrate with an Easter brunch Hotel Park Split (BaÄvice) is hosting an Easter buffet lunch with traditional dishes, live music and kids activities.
