A 2014 Chevy Tahoe lost its brakes coming down Main Street by the Copperhead Club on Tuesday evening. The vehicle crashed into a parked van, tore through a fence, and became stuck on the railroad tracks west of Water Street. The cause of the accident is believed to be mechanical failure of the brakes. No injuries were reported, but several rush-hour trains were delayed.
