🤠 A little Texas BBQ, delicious peach cobbler, and a whole lot of good company.
Our well-deserved lunch break after working on horsemanship skills all morning! The WAR Introduction Horsemanship & Roping Clinic for 1st Responders was about more than learning new skills; we built friendships, shared stories, and took some time to relax between lessons.
And then there’s Dre Sanchez. 😂 The man knows how to deliver a dramatic pose for the camera! As the organizer of this event, he puts his heart into bringing people together, and he never disappoints when it comes to giving me a moment worth capturing.
Thank you, Twisted X, for sponsoring lunch and helping make this break special. Texas BBQ and peach cobbler? Now that’s how you treat a crew!
Of course, none of this happens without the incredible sponsors and volunteers who support our 1st responders, veterans, and the horsemanship community.

🏆 No horsemanship clinic is complete without someone earning a buckle!
Thank you, B2 Ranch Group by Bentwood Realty for helping make last weekend’s WAR Introduction Horsemanship & Roping Clinic for 1st Responders extra special. There’s nothing quite like the pride of earning a buckle! It wasn't easy for Skip and Justin to choose the winners! Everyone put in so much work on their skills.
Congratulations to Grant and Darren!
We’re grateful to all our sponsors for supporting our first responders, veterans, and the horsemanship community.
