We believe that investing in our local economies can create a brighter future for our communities and our world. Living Local has just gone through a major update and upgrade! We are calling it Living Local 413 because it is really the same awesome grassroots movement it has always been, but now it has been expanded to include all of Western Mass and has many other new features and benefits for its members as well as the communities it serves. We also have a new leader and he is ready to take Living Local to the next level! Bill Cole is the new Board Chair and has already added new back-end software and has re-designed the website to reflect our new mission and direction. Our networking meetings have been moved from East Longmeadow to Springfield. Bill says “If there was ever a time to relocate to Springfield this it!” We are planning to make Springfield our home base and the location of the networking meetings for Hampden County and then we will open up a chapter for Hampshire County next. In the end, we hope to have a chapter in each of the counties in Western Mass.
“This is not about making money for the group, it is about helping locally owned businesses in Western Mass thrive!” Bill Cole, President
