I’m incredibly excited and humbled to say I’ll be teaching guitar at Illinois College this fall. This was something I’d hoped to do after finishing my degree, but life sometimes has some nice surprises. IC is dear to our family as not just a great institution in our community, but Wendy is a proud alumni too.

Music has afforded me incredible opportunities and experiences in life- beyond anything I could dream. That all started with a band teacher named Sam Herring who taught me music and I’m still enough of an idealist to believe that the best music lies in the next generation, so to be able to give back to that as part of the music department is an honor. See you on the hilltop.

Happy Thanksgiving from our family. Hope today and this season finds you with peace and gratitude for all the good things in your life, both big and small.
